Our Donors
Our generous supporters have donated classrooms and teachers homes for many of the schools in the Mazabuka, Zambia rural communities. These are just a few examples of their generosity and grace. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
We have donors like Clarence and Tina Kahlig of San Antonio who have donated so much over the years. Clarence even shares a portion of each auto sold in San Antonio grand openings to our Children in Need work in Zambia. He also tries to bring Sister to each dealership to introduce her and bless each of his buildings with her presence.
Judy and Dave Rettinger have been involved as members of Children in Need and have been very generous donors in Zambia building a teacher's home and hosting several fundraising events in their San Antonio home.
George and Kathy Gisin have also built a home for teachers, flown Sister in for fundraisers, and tirelessly given funds and love to this organization since 2002. They have teachers homes dedicated in their names and even have babies who were given their namesake by their grateful parents.
Susan Smith donated the entire computer classroom to the school in memoriam to her son Will Smith. Susan has been an honored and dear friend of all of us at Children in Need. She has hosted fundraisers at her home in San Antonio. There is nothing harder than losing a child and nothing more magnanimous than having the memory of that child live on by giving the gift of life to so many underprivileged children.
Every board member has given financially to the mission of Sister Celestine's work in Zambia. Serving as the financial stewards of the organization, we assure all who give that your donation will be used in the most efficient way.
Children in Need is a 501c3 charitable organization and 100% of your contribution is tax deductible as allowed by law.
