Schools

Children in Need funds the Teaching Program. 

Education is critical to the community and the only way we can grow educational opportunities is to grow the number of teachers. Our classes have a ratio of 60-100 students to one teacher. There are 48 of our teachers assisting in 31 schools. 

We also reach out to local businesses to help us creatively supply Children in Need.

• Antonian College Preparatory High School & Central Catholic High School in San Antonio have supported our fundraising efforts.

• Books and funds to buy Zambian textbooks are needed for the schools 

• Playground and outdoor sports equipment that has been gently used; soccer balls, socks, tennis shoes help children exercise and learn teamwork

• Solar batteries and lights are all needed  

• Shipping of our donations
